01What’s the current market rate for IP transit nationwide?
It moves quarterly, which is exactly why a multi-carrier check matters — rates differ meaningfully between networks for identical commits. Send your commit level and location and we’ll return current numbers across every carrier at your facility, free.
02Do I need my own ASN and IP space?
For BGP transit, yes — an ASN and provider-independent prefixes. If you’re not there yet, we can quote DIA with static assigned space instead, and map the path to your own ASN when you’re ready.
03Blended or single-carrier transit?
Single-carrier is cheapest per Mbps; blends buy resilience and route diversity in one handoff. Many networks buy two single-carrier ports from different Tier 1s instead — often the best price-per-resilience. We’ll price all three shapes.
04Can I get transit outside the carrier hotels?
Yes — anywhere fiber reaches, though carrier-hotel cross-connects are the most economical delivery. For on-premises delivery we fold the access circuit into the same competitive quote.
